Last February, my cousins and I went to Chicago, Illinois. Chicago is known as the Windy City. Sitting on Lake Michigan, the city is known to get bone chillingly cold and snowy. So why on earth would we go in February? Well, we were celebrating a birthday. That’s the real reason! But I’m sure you’re more interested in what there is to do in Chicago in the winter.
Chicago has many amazing museums and sights, but they can get pretty pricey. You can buy the Chicago CityPASS to help you save on admission prices while seeing five of the seven main attractions in the city. For $89, you can choose to visit five of the following attractions:
1. Shedd Aquarium (VIP Entry)
2. SkyDeck Chicago (Fast Pass)
3. The Field Museum (All Access Pass)
4. Museum of Science and Industry OR John Hancock Observatory
5. Alder Planetarium OR Art Institute of Chicago
I suggest taking advantage of the CityPASS in the winter. You get the opportunity to experience the indoor attractions without missing what Chicago has to offer in the summer months. And let me tell you, Chicago is beautiful during the summer. (I’ll post about that later.)
To encourage you to get out to the Windy City, check out these pictures! Just imagine yourself visiting the Midwest. Looks great, doesn’t it?
