Restaurant Review: Menotomy Grill and Tavern

I went to Cambridge, Massachusetts for a quick business trip and had the opportunity to go to the new Menotomy Grill and Tavern in Arlington, MA. So what did I think of the place?

The Food

Every bite I took was absolutely delicious. I ordered the marinated steak tips with Parmesan french fries and asked for the chimichurri sauce on the side. The steak was cooked to my liking. And, really, you can never go wrong with french fries. The Parmesan ones were to die for. I highly recommend them over the sweet potato fries.

Don’t worry, I also got dessert. I had apple crumble with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It was the perfect ending to a great meal. The best part? The cost. It’s a decently priced restaurant. The steak tips were $19!

The Atmosphere

You can go here for a nice night out with friends or even a business dinner. There’s a good size bar with TVs, but there’s also tables and booths to sit at if you’re looking for something more “formal.” I put that word in quotation marks because it’s really not formal, but you can have better conversation with your dinner party if you choose this option.

The Final Word

If you’re in Boston for vacation or if this is your home, I recommend making your way over to Menotomy Grill and Tavern. I didn’t  get a chance to explore any other restaurants in the area or in the actual city of Boston, but I can bet that this place is very competitively priced and you get plenty of food for the cost.

Have you visited this restaurant yet? What are your thoughts?
